Music Ish: De La!
It’s been a long day.
It’s gonna be a longer night.
I’m just about spent, but I wanted to do a quick post.
I’m in absolute lust with my De La Soul collection. It has gotten me through many a day of scrubbin toilets and made for some interesting nights!
Droppin knowledge – if only more people understood the concept expressed, here. (We’d have a lot more local Emcees on the map. -smirk-)

Music Ish: REAL Hip-Hop
One little birdie:
[He] is what we called a lyrical assassin when I was in the pen…he can freestyle, he can write, he makes beats…he doesn’t even have to talk about guns or shootin to kill somebody on the mic…he could be getting paid right now…
Second little birdie:
I never get tired of hearing [his] music. I have several songs that were instant favorites. I have others that I’ve learned over time. I even have songs that I actually have to listen to to appreciate. And songs that I can’t listen to because the beat’s just too hot!
I’m not gonna name names on this one.
I’m biding my time.
All I will say is…what the mind can perceive, it can achieve.
