I had a…rough…day at my ‘day’ job. (My alter ego is a maid. For real!)

I was in a rush to get home and forgot to get my lung-killing Black ‘n Milds so I had to go back out.

I got into the ‘corner’ store (that’s roughly 2 miles from my house in the sticks) just in time to hear that ‘Stanky Leg’ bullshit that’s rocking the radio airwaves these days (You know? This one?). The thin, cute, lil man that’s usually in there was absent but I knew the woman behind the register and smiled to her as I walked back to dig a caffiene-ladden soda from the depths of a nice refrigeration unit. As she was finishing a transaction with another man, the song came on.

And so did my displeasure.

And to think, I almost didn’t go!

First and foremost, the band portion of Green Thumb made my *#$&)@ night.

SBE came in behind em ‘n made it even better.

It was great seeing DVS 1 up in lights.

Crossbreed even showed up superlate.

And I managed to get Mista Kingz to put in an appearance!

I have some great footage but, as always, it’s gonna be a minute.

A coupla days late, but what can I say? I’m in high demand these days. -sigh-

We spent Saturday night celebrating ABL Ent’s two year anniversary.

Planet Zoron rocked the stage and the public at large got their first taste of Green Thumb, SBE’s hot new band. Yes, that’s right. I said band! They’ve got a website up, gogogreenthumb.com. There’s not a lot there right now, but you can find their next few gigs.

Like tonight? They’re gonna be live on V89.7. You can tune in or go here to listen in. They’ll be on at 10 if ya’ll want to get in on the greatness.

The lovely Sista Sah-Raa was behind the cameras with me – and was kind enough to donate some pictures! – so I’ll have some pictures and video up before long.
