And since I was reminded, here is a favorite quote I meant to post a couple of weeks back but didn’t get the chance: “Thanks a million, Queen…how are you and the Princess today?”
It’s kinda sad how my people continually ask me what I make doing what I do. Money, ideally, isn’t the reason.
I do what I do because comments like the one above and having folks tell me what I’ve done has made a difference in their lives sets my soul soaring. Were it not for my bills, that would be all I need.
It’s been a bit now since I felt truly appreciated. It’s almost enough to bring tears to my eyes.
